So we're having family prayer like we do every night and Joie is saying the prayer.  She usually prays for them to have good dreams and go to sleep quickly, for Fox to let her sleep etc.  Tonight as she says, 'Bless that Fox was fall asleep right away', Fox immediately starts snoring and fake sleeping during the prayer.  It's hard not to giggle and stay reverent after that!

So I get home after work the other day and I was so proud of Fox. He kept his big boy pants dry all day long! Then at bedtime as we went getting into our pj's he was wet.  I said Fox, how come you stayed dry all day until now?  He said he stays dry for Aunt Holly but not  when Mommy gets home. What?? Holly is visiting for two months from Cloverdale, BC, Canada and we love having her visit, obviously Fox really does too... Very proud of him still.

So proud of the kids.  They both just had their first real dentist appointments.  They were great!  The assistants cleaned their teeth and took x-rays.  Did the flouride thing with the trays.  Fox seemed a little uncomfortable because the kids were done at the same time and couldn't see eachother or me, just the dentist.  However, they didn't complain once. They laughed and giggled and had been looking forward to it all day.  Dr. Sawdy is a great dentist for kids and taught them how to balance a small basketball on air, and tested Joie's shoes with the water sprayer to see if they were waterproof.  The staff said Joie and Fox were the best patients of the day. 

I'm so glad they are excited for the dentist now and do so well. Huge step up for Joie from her last experience!
